Festivals 2017 – The ‘No Makeup’ Makeup Look

One of the biggest fashion looks I saw at Coachella was the boho look. I’m so happy it’s making a come back! Time for rustic, floral prints, loose fitting dresses, short denim shorts and loose, wavy hair. It’s all about naturalness. The “I woke up like this” vibe. As if you rolled out of bed, selected the first piece of crumpled up clothing from your floordrobe and waltzed out of the front door, glowing and glorious. Except in reality, it’s a carefully calculated look, pairing the right print with the right accessories and the right makeup. But in my opinion, the right makeup is the ‘No Makeup’ Makeup look.

Review: Glow Cult Cosmetics Unicorn Oil

Isn’t Pinterest amazing? I find most of my beauty products through it. It’s very easy to want something when you see how it looks on someone else. That’s the story with this product. When I saw a picture of a girl with perfect dutch braids and a gorgeous, shimmery, pink glow on her cheeks, I was desperate to copy her look. The fact that it was impossible to get probably helped! There was such a hype surrounding this palette, to the extent that people got genuinely excited for me when I announced on Twitter I’d managed to buy one. Was it honestly going to be worth it?

Review: Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid and Master Strobing Stick

…the recommendation of the Master Strobing Liquid stuck with me, because it wasn’t the first time I’d heard it described as a ‘Must Have’. I’m on a highlighting craze right now; I literally cannot get enough highlighters. So When I found the Master Strobing Liquid and the Master Strobing Stick, both in the same two colour selection and costing less than £5, I bit the bullet and bought one of each.

February Favourites

Yes, I am a little late to the bandwagon on this one. Trying to fit in uni and blogging is such a hard life! But I am finally here with my favourite products from last month, and intend to show them in all of their glory! (That I can somehow portray through a phone camera and limited photography skills…)

Today’s shopping haul

Today was the first day in 6 weeks I didn’t have deadline’s or extra reading looming over my shoulder. In dire need of a few things and having no commitments today, I decided a decent shop was in order! Here is what I bought!
