June Glossybox Word of Rachel

June Glossybox: Unboxing

I couldn’t believe I hadn’t been excited for this months Glossybox! Not only does it have 2 full sized treats, but it actually has 6 products, rather than the usual 5. There’s a great mix of products, with 3 skincare products, 2 makeup products and 1 hair product. So read on to see what I got, and what I think of the products!

Festivals 2017 – The ‘No Makeup’ Makeup Look

One of the biggest fashion looks I saw at Coachella was the boho look. I’m so happy it’s making a come back! Time for rustic, floral prints, loose fitting dresses, short denim shorts and loose, wavy hair. It’s all about naturalness. The “I woke up like this” vibe. As if you rolled out of bed, selected the first piece of crumpled up clothing from your floordrobe and waltzed out of the front door, glowing and glorious. Except in reality, it’s a carefully calculated look, pairing the right print with the right accessories and the right makeup. But in my opinion, the right makeup is the ‘No Makeup’ Makeup look.

Review: Scrub Love Activated Charcoal Scrub

But over the years I’ve found exfoliation products to be a little hit and miss. Some products have so much scrubbing power it hurts whereas others have a few beads in them, so small you can hardly feel them working. I usually use mitts because they provide the best scrubbing power, and you can control it. But this month I was provided with an interesting exfoliation product in my Glossybox (read my full unboxing here); the Scrub Love Activated Charcoal Scrub, and a little scrubbing pad to go with it. I was so excited to try it out, and today I finally opened up the packet and gave it a go!

April Glossybox: Unboxing and Overview

I was really impressed with this month’s GlossyBox, which features three generous sized samples and two full sized products. The first thing that struck me when I lifted off the lid was a gorgeous smell, so strong I was convinced something had leaked! But no, everything was still perfectly intact and wrapped up in it’s packaging. There’s a few brands I’ve already got products from, and some new ones, so I’m really happy with this month’s box (And I haven’t even opened up any of the products yet!).

March Glossybox unboxing and Glossybox first impressions

I have a severe subscription box addiction, I’ll admit it. When I first subscribed to Birchbox back in January, I found out about Glossybox. Most people said it was better, but back then I had more self control and so decided against taking out another subscription box. It lasted a whole 2 months before the joy of getting a monthly gift became too much and I wanted more. So a few days ago I signed up to Glossybox and my first box came today.
